This is the unique temple having the recitation of Sreemad Mahabharatham for the last more than 75 years. Now on every first saturday of Malayalam month and having a Mahabharatha Yagnam for five days during the month of April- May every year.

03The temple festival known by name " Malakkuda Utchara Maholsavam" celebrates to 9 days, starts by hoisting of flag on Makaram 20 and ends at Makaram 28 every year.
Special Days
04The centuries old dravidian folk art by name " Bharatham kali( ഭാരതം കളി ), Malakkuda procession( മലക്കുട എഴുന്നള്ളത്ത് ), and Kettukazhcha ( കെട്ടുകാഴ്ച ) are the main traditional functions at the temple on the Utcharam day of Makaram 28.
